Books
"Recollections of My Nonexistence" by Rebecca Solnit is a memoir, an introspective exploration of the author's journey to find her voice and identity as a woman in a society that often seeks to silence and erase. Solnit's prose is gorgeous and the themes are important. The book delves into feminism, power, and the construction of self, offering a compelling perspective on the female experience. Makes you to reflect on your own existence and the societal structures that shape it.
"Why We Cook: Women on Food, Identity, and Connection" is a brilliant anthology, possibly the best one on food, that brings together diverse voices of women, sharing their intimate and powerful stories about the intersection of food, identity, and connection. Created by Lindsay Gardner, this collection showcases the ways in which cooking becomes a medium for self-expression, cultural preservation, and forging meaningful relationships. "Why We Cook" is a celebration of women's voices, resilience, and the enduring bonds that are woven through the act of sharing meals, simply put, all of my favourite things.

I am on my yearly rewatch of Grace and Frankie now and, as always, loving it.
Starring Jane Fonda as Grace and Lily Tomlin as Frankie, Grace and Frankie revolves around two women whose lives are unexpectedly intertwined when their husbands reveal they are gay and in love with each other. Faced with the news, Grace and Frankie embark on a journey of reinvention. An amazing portrait of friendship, aging, and self-discovery. Also, the chemistry between them is palpable. Truly one of the best comfort shows of all time.
